AQE 2013 – A Huge Success!

Thu 11 Apr 2013

DynOptic Systems was recently selected as one of the top 10 exhibitors at The Air Quality and Emissions Show (AQE), held in Telford, 13th-14th March.

Continuing the company’s strong tradition of new and innovative products, DynOptic exhibited for the first time in partnership with sister company Tunnel Sensors Ltd, a leading global supplier of air pollution monitoring equipment designed specifically for the traffic and tunnel market.

With the health effects of air pollution, particularly in urban areas, being the focus of much attention during the conference, on display was the Tunnel Sensors VNOX NO2 Monitor, which uses differential absorption to provide a direct optical measurement of nitrogen dioxide. Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is produced as a direct result of engine combustion and is emitted from the tailpipes on all types of vehicles. The gas is toxic and prolonged exposure will have a detrimental effect on human health. Primary tailpipe emissions of NO2 are rising and there is a growing international requirement to measure the level of NO2 in road traffic environments

AQE 2013 has been heralded as a phenomenal success and attracted three times the number of registered visitors than the previous event in 2011.

With this in mind DynOptic has already booked their spot for AQE 2015 (22nd – 23rd April) so come and see us at Stand 87!

We have used DynOptic dust monitors over the last 10 years. The instruments have been working reliably on our process over this time and furthermore correlate well with iso-kinetic samples.
